VAT: what you pay
- Netherlands: 21% VAT is added at checkout.
- EU business with a VAT number: no VAT. Enter your number at checkout or in your quote request. We check it in the EU register (VIES) and the VAT is removed straight away; your invoice says “VAT reverse charged”.
- Private buyers in the EU: 21% VAT.
- Outside the EU: no Dutch VAT. Your own country may charge import duty and tax when the goods arrive.
Delivery
- Small parcels (for example a trial frame or PD meter): €7,95 in the Netherlands; €14,95 in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France; €15,95 to €29,95 elsewhere in the EU depending on the country. Once per order.
- Medium parcels (for example a vision chart, trial lens set or lensmeter): each travels in its own box. In the Netherlands €14,95 for the first box and €7,95 for each extra box; elsewhere in the EU €34,95 to €50,95 for the first box, depending on the country.
- Heavy instruments (for example a slit lamp or autorefractor): €45 per item in the Netherlands, €55 in Belgium and Luxembourg.
- Pallet delivery with tail lift (tables, chairs, units, floor stands): €150 per item in the Netherlands, €175 in Belgium, €199 in Luxembourg.
- Elsewhere in the EU heavy instruments and pallets cost more; you see the exact amount at checkout, before you pay.
- Malta, Cyprus and outside the EU: heavy instruments and pallets by quote. Small and medium parcels outside the EU: the amount shown at checkout; import duty and tax of your country are not included.
- Your own transport? Ask us for a quote: when you arrange the transport yourself, we do not charge delivery.
